What it is

Redstone Companion is a browser-based simulator for the redstone circuitry mechanics in Minecraft Bedrock Edition. The engine models Bedrock-faithful behavior tick-by-tick: piston delays, torch burnout, comparator analog math, observer pulses, hopper transfers, the works. It ships with 160+ interactive preset circuits ranging from a single NOT gate to a 25-furnace super smelter.

What you can do

Browse the catalog
160+ presets across logic, pistons, farms, item sorters, and more — searchable by tag.
Interact in 3D
Orbit camera, FPS walk-through, isometric, and 2D editor views. Tap inputs to fire the circuit.
Build your own
Shift-click to place blocks against any face. Build-plane gizmo for floating circuits.
Share & embed
Every circuit gets a permanent URL. Embed any preset as an interactive iframe.

Who made it

Built by Diz (Justin Edwards), a generative software developer who couldn't find a redstone tool that combined Bedrock accuracy, browser-first access, and shareable URLs in one place. The project is closed-source for now but actively developed.

Is it free?

Yes — and intended to stay that way. Hosting and development time is supported by Ko-fi donations from people who find the tool useful. If you embed it in a tutorial or learn something from it, consider tossing a few bucks at ko-fi.com/diz — it keeps the project alive.

Source code & contributing

Currently closed source. The simulator engine represents a lot of careful Bedrock-mechanics research, and right now keeping it closed gives the project room to find its commercial sustainability path. If you'd like to see this opened up, there's a "Request open source" link in the Feedback menu (bottom-right corner of the main app) — tell us why and what you'd do with it.

Engine accuracy

The simulator follows Bedrock Edition behavior, which differs from Java Edition in important ways (no quasi-connectivity, weak-power absorption by solid blocks, instant 0-tick piston extension, etc.). Where Bedrock and Java diverge, this tool models Bedrock. Bugs are inevitable — please report any you find with the in-app feedback button.
