A tripwire hook is a side-mounted trigger. Paired with a second hook across a string line, it outputs strong power when an entity crosses the wire or the string breaks.

Output Power level 15 when triggered Pairing Must face a second hook across tripwire string Triggers on Entity crossing the wire, or string being broken Placement Attached to a solid block face (N/S/E/W)
Bedrock note Both hooks fire together when the string is disturbed, which is why tripwires double as tamper alarms: cutting the string trips the circuit just like walking through it.
